Remembering the Storm of the Century in 1993

In addition to the blog which I wrote in 2009, which shows maps and photos from the “Blizzard of 1993,” we have some new resources this year. Among them is an article about how (scientifically) the storm was predicted and what qualified it as a Blizzard of Superstorm. (It also contains an unfortunate photo of me when I was younger, lol).

We also produced two additional videos, the first of which shows my photos from North Carolina, while interviewing several of my coworkers who were here at AccuWeather HQ during the storm. This is a must-see.

The second video shows old video footage and is presented by AccuWeather’s Mark Mancuso.
