A Cyclone WATCH has been declared for coastal areas from Mardie to Cape Leveque in Western Australia with TC Lua expected to become a category 3 Cyclone during Friday. Cyclones of this strength would trigger destructive winds between 165 – 224 km/h which would be capable of some roof and structural damage with some caravans destroyed and power failure likely.
