Tropical storm Irina has unleashed torrential rain over parts of Kwazulu Natal, flooding roads and homes. Massive waves have also been battering the KZN coastline.

East Coasters have sent these photos in, documenting some of the flooding and damage done after Sunday’s heavy rain.

The SA Weather Service says the storm should move north on Tuesday.
